May 2015 - November 2015

Under the UNFCCC new reporting requirements for developing countries were agreed. These biennual update reports (BUR) will be subject to an international analysis and consultation (ICA) process.

The ICA will be conducted by a technical team of experts (TTE). It was agreed that this team of experts needs to receive training. The Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from non-Annex I Parties (CGE) developed the training program. I was supporting the CGE in developing the training material for elements of the BUR relating to 'mitigation actions'. The material was first used in April and May 2015 and will be used for subsequent training rounds. Material is currently only available for experts registered in the Roster of Experts to the UNFCCC.
